Microsoft Project: Sending Export Map By Email?

I've been asked to code a VBA module that exports data from Project to Excel using an Export Map for a remote client (300 miles from me). No problem, it's done. But when I try to email the file to the person who needs it, neither the VBA nor the Export Map are sent. Neither of us has received any message indicating that the code was stripped out as a security measure. I know I can export the VBA module and email that, can I do the same with the Export Map?
