Hi!

I am new to this group and hoping some of you might help answer a Microsoft Excel VBA related question.

I am using Microsoft Excel 2010 on Ubuntu using Codeweaver. The Excel VBA seems to integrate nicely with Ubuntu and runs just fine, except that am unable to figure out how to open an Ubuntu application using VBA. The VBA function Shell(pathname [, windowstyle] ) on Windows, runs any windows application; but am not sure if there is an equivalent command to open Ubuntu applications. I am specifically interested in opening the Terminal using Excel VBA.

Any thoughts/insights would be appreciated.

Thanks

Aditya
