There are many ways to do this in Excel. I will show you two methods in this short video.

I bet you didn't know the old  solution to this question.  From YouTube: numbers one to 100,000.
The new way, if you're on Microsoft 365   equals SEQUENCE( type the number  100000 and you're basically done.  Maybe Control+C and Paste, Paste Values.
Alright, but if you're not on Microsoft 365?  Type the number 1.
Up here, Home, Fill, Fill Series.  Change to Columns.  Step Value of 1.
Stop Value 100,000.  Click OK.
