Sometimes when I paste from one excel file into another I get the following message:
"microsoft excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action"
When the message pops up the excel file it relates to freezes, if I click okay the message just returns meaning I'm unable to save my work or copy and paste it, anything I've done since my last save is lost.
I'm not too concerned about the cause of the message as I think it's to do with some of our software at work, but I wanted to know if there's a way to get rid of the message and save my work? Would it be possible to run a macro from outside of that workbook?
