Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a system/database tool called Tabular and if this is just a different version of MS Access??

My new company wont use Access but are trying to get Tabular implemented, and from what I can see Tabular looks like some kind of different version of Access?

Thanks in advance

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
A little searching and it appears tableau is a BI (business intelligence) software package. So not really much at all the same as MSAccess, which is primarily built for interaction with SQL databases using Queries, Forms and Reports. A good BI tool probably should have data warehousing and data analysis tools including excellent charting and various types of data mining capabilities - minimally something like creating trendlines and histograms, or more advanced techniques such as searching for patterns in data.
