MICR Printing

I have a spreadsheet that I put together to print checks. In one cell I have the following: =CONCATENATE("c", TEXT(N1, "000000"),"c a", N9, "a ", N8, "c ") and that cell is formatted with the font: MICR encoding.

When I print this check from my computer at home I do not get MICR encoding. What I get is: c004356c aJane Castens, CPAa 53112761c

Someone told me that I needed a printer that had the ability to print MICR encoding. I took my check to the office where we print checks all the time. When I printed my check it came out exactly the same as my home printer. What do I need to do to get this thing to print MICR encoding?

Thanks
