Messed up data in rows after sorting

My question might need my workbook at hand, which I do not have at the time. I've been working on a spreadsheet at work. It has a lot of columns with lots of conditional formatting. The formatting concerns both date columns and formula columns. The formulas is only relative to other cells in its own row. It has a frozen header row with filter applied to it. I did a sort in one of the formula column in the filter pop up, and later I saw that a lot of date columns was not consistent with their original row. The dates was all messed up.

Don't know if you know a simple solution to this, or if I have to bring a sample of my book. If so, I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I use Excel 2010 at work.
