Message boxes?

I have a value in cell D8. How can I create a pop up message if D8 is less than cell B17 OR greater than cell B21?

Somehow I broke it! It is now giving the msgbox even if the value in D8 is >D17 and <D21. Help!

It can happen if the other condition is met, ie, D8>B21

I want to use a message box like a text box. I want to begin the text in B16 and continue in B17 and B18

I have tried without success to use

.range("B16") .msg="text" I get an error
