Based on the table above. I would like to know how can I merge the data from columns DATA 1 to DATA 3 into the FINAL STATUS column. Like the TABLE below.
<tbody>
Base
FINAL STATUS
DATA 1
DATA 2
DATA 3

Banana
no

no

</tbody>
Appreciate your response.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
If they are text entries like your sample and there is just one entry per row, try this in A2, copied down
=LOOKUP(REPT("z",255),C2:E2)

Edit: If you have the CONCAT() function in your Excel version:
=CONCAT(C2:E2)

Thanks peter.

just wanted to understand what the "z" in the rept function do?

Actually there are 8 data columns with different texts in them.

The REPT() function creates a long string of "z"s. When the lookup function cannot find that in the range, it returns the last thing that it can find.

Actually there are 8 data columns with different texts in them.
If only one of those 8 columns in each row has data, then the function(s) will still work if you just expand the range C2:J2
If more than one column in the same row can have text, what result(s) do you want? Some examples like you gave in post #1 ?

Do you have the CONCAT function (Excel through Office 365)?
