Merged Cells and Page Splits (Macro)

Trying to solve a printing problem I have when dealing with merged cells. I have sheet that's several hundred rows long and I've created a macro that hides certain rows and spits out a PDF copy (I need several hundred unique versions of this). That part is working perfectly, however, several rows have segments that are merged and Excel is splitting these up across multiple pages. Those splits change based on each unique version so I'm not able to set manual page breaks. I need a way to work through the document, determine if a split segment is across multiple pages and then manually insert a page break. And as I mentioned above, certain rows are hidden in each different version, so the total row count stays the same - some are just not visible.
