merge multiple rows combining duplicate and non-duplicate data into one row (constituent records)

I have been compiling many many contact lists into a master excel sheet. Many customers were on multiple lists and are now on the master list multiple times (it is a large list) with many columns of categories and contact information. I need to combine duplicates --sometimes 2 duplicates of one person, sometimes 3 or 4-- each might have a different piece of info in a column but most have the same email address (that's what I was using to identify duplicates). Is there a way I can merge these in excel without losing data?

I need to clean the data up before it is loaded into a new CRM and don't really want to merge info for thousands of records by hand.

thank you!

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Through a pivot table, if you put email first in row, you will normally have one line per email.
