Hi there,

I have a colleague who we have moved to Office 2016 from 2010 and now a macro enabled spreadsheet is not working as it once was.

He gets an error in VBA when running a macro - the error is a Run Time 1004 and states about an issue with merged cells.

I've done lots of reading and have read that merged cells should be avoided but unfortunately, that would take a hell of a lot of work to get the layout to look the same and would require changes on so many spreadsheets.

As a test, I got the user to unmerge all cells and it did indeed work but is there not something in the code that could be changed/tweaked to prevent it happening?

I can obviously provide a copy of the code if it helps troubleshoot.

Thanks in advance,
Charlie

Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
