Hello Forum,

When comparing resource needs; does a table of the same size as a list use the same memory?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
 Solved

It turns out that if you have a fairly large workbook, a number of tabs, and the tabs set up for Print View, this takes alot of memory. Once I changed all my tabs to normal view, my Resources error stopped. Error was Not enough system resources for the procedure.

Hope this helps someone down the road.

Ed,

I have a large workbook with some 40 worksheets with resource issues. What do you mean by "normal view" for tabs?

On the View tab of the Ribbon, Normal View is the first icon. I imagine ed had selected Page Layout or Page Break Preview.

Thanks Andrew

I have resource issues. Can you point me to an article or blog that covers reducing resource needs?
