Hello,

I am looking to write a measure between two different queries that will take the sum sales from one query and subtract out sum of costs from another query, with the link on both being the ID column. I have already linked those in diagram view.

thanks in advance

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Hi,

Could you please paste a screenshot of your data model, showing how these two tables are linked?
The measure will depend on their cardinality (one to many, one to one...) and also their cross filter direction (both / single).

Also, is your report page having some additional slicers that might affect the measure (e.g. Date selector?).
