In part of my print macro, I have this
Code:
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut From:=1, To:=1, Copies:=1, Collate _
        :=True, IgnorePrintAreas:=False

Now what does IgnorePrintAreas:= False mean please?

where can I find what all of these mean?

Ron

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Just click on the word PrintOut in the VBA editor and press F1. It'll open up a web page with documentation about that item.

Thank you Eric
but without having to click on all the various words, is their a document/ web site that has them all listed?

If you click F1 on PrintOut, the web page shows all of the parameters that PrintOut uses: IgnorePrintAreas, From, Copies, etc.

A few years back, Microsoft got rid of the offline documentation, and now you have to go to the web to get to it. If you go to that web page, and look in the upper left corner, you'll see a hierarchical path to get to that particular object, you can use that to search other things. It's very much designed to show information about a given object or method, you kind of have to know what you're looking for.

Eric, so where is that info stored? with Excel on my PC or online ? I will admit I preferred the old paper manuals as it was easier to test things out without having to keep changing screens.
