Hi all, not a ton on this since i think Maxifs are for the newer version of excel?
Anyway, here is the formula I'm trying to use:

=MAXIFS(B:B,LEFT(F:F,3),K1)

K1 contains the first 3 letters of a postal code,
column F has full 6 digit postal codes,
column B has numbers that i want to return the max of (if it matches my selected 3 digits).

I saw numerous options on this fix if it were a sumifs question (using sumproduct as an array with --). But I can't get that to work for Max.

Thanks!
