Hello all. I've been searching for a combo of Max and array formula and I've exploded my mind trying to figure it out.

Here is the basics that I would like

A B C MAX Forumla
1 2 3 3 =MAX(A1,B1,C1)
4 5 6 6 =MAX(A2,B2,C2)
7 8 9 9 =MAX(A3,B3,C3)

But of course An ArrayForumla using max doesn't work like I expect. How do I make a formula that would fit this condition?

Thank you so much,
Tach

P.S. how do I make a table?

I have no idea how (or even what) I did, but this worked for for me.

=arrayformula(filter(B4:H,column(B4:H)=max(if(B4:H<>"",column(B4:H)))))

Got the first part from the web and stuck an arrayforumula around it.

EDIT: nevermind, It sorta works, but if one row is ahead of another (and has more columns filled out) then it all falls to pieces

Back to the drawing board. I think I'll try to post on the google docs page because this is more specific to them
