Hi!

I created a SearchBox combo box on my form (frm_speakers). All works fine, except I want my SearchBox field to match the LastName on the form. How do I do that?

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
so, if the user did NOT use the combo,... you want it to show the bound item in the LastName field?

Hi! Yes...so I want the LastName to match in the Search Box as it is to the record, itself. Right now, as I scroll through the records, it does not stay the same.

You can set it on the on current event

Something like:

Code:
Private Sub Form_Current()
Me.[COLOR=#b22222]MycomboBox[/COLOR].Value = Me.[COLOR=#b22222]Surname[/COLOR]
End Sub

You will need to change the control names to suit your form.
