Hello,
I have a formula which has index match combination and it is working ok.There is one problem in that the data sometimes is not exactly the same.
For example it is mainly to do with the placement of the full stop. One data source the full stop is placed with a space after the number.e,g. 2. red.The one I am usually trying to match with often has the number placed directly after the number.e.g. 2.red.
This data varies and sometimes the full stop is placed after the number as in the first instance.I have read that there is an approximate match commande but I am not sure if this would work in this case.
Hopiing someone may be able to advise please.
