With my intention to restrict access to certain buttons on a switchboard, I have created a query & form & Macro, with which on clicking a button on the switchboard, a password has to be entered so that the proper form opens up.

The Problem is that the form shows the password on the screen, while it is being entered. I want to mask the password to appear as ****** on the screen. How do I do this. All help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Varun D

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Thanks for replying. I looked at this post, and this did seem the logical way to do it. However, even upon doing this, the password is not getting masked. I wonder why. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.. Varun D
