I've been working on excel based powerpivot model for a weeks and suddenly my pc has been taken over by 3 or 4 Micrososft Mashup evaluation containers using 100% of the CPU. Excel is not doing anything as not touching model no pivot table refreshing. struggling to type this post. Never ends so model is unworkable as have to close it down, but same situation as soon as I open it.Mike

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Perfect. How weird I added a new data source and some how it must have turned this on as wasn't doing it before. Clicking it off fixed.

Thanks so much

Mike
