marksheet: opt out the fail student

Hi guys, just register to this forum awhile ago..and I m very new to excel and want to learn more in deep..but I m at very beginner stage...let me come to my point...i jave created one marksheet for students conataining marks in respectively subject..what i want to do is i want to show the "no.of subject" student failed in subjects.
How to do that and with which with which formula l..
