We don't actually mark threads as solved in this forum because even when they are solved, it is not unusual for an even better answer to come along later and we do not want to discourage that.
However, you can mark a post as the solution or if there is no post with the solution but you have solved it elsewhere, just reply to the thread yourself and say so.
