Does anyone know a message board for the Mapinfo computer package?

It is a GIS package and I am having trouble with thematic mapping.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Thought I'd ask the same question.

We've just had MapInfo installed and now the powers that be want pretty little maps for our reports.
Well actually, the powers that be don't know what they want. They just want to know what's going on in Essex and a picture says a thousand words, etc.

I've joined that board & I guess I just get spoilt with this forum.
The MapInfo one has lots of questions, but not many answers.

Ah well, if you're used to the best then I guess inferior boards just can't hack it.

Delmar,

We use MapInfo at work too. It's a blessing and a curse. I really hate how long it takes to prepare the data just to get plotted points on a map. I also do thematic maps. Is there a specific question you have about that?

No specific questions yet Tom. Thanks anyway.
I think I might have an easier time of it as all our maps are already prepared - the whole county's photographed, plotted and whatever else is needed. We just need to make sure the postcodes are correct before putting them into MapInfo.
That's the good thing about councils - they just throw money at getting these things done :-P
