I built a database which has the following fields...

SigmaPlusNo Keyfield
ChargeNo
Estimate
FiscalYear
CostCenter

There was only one record per field.
Now they have changed the rules on me!!

There can be multiple charge numbers, multiple estimates per single SigmaPlusNo.

The data entry is via a form(text fields) or (comboboxes)

How can I enter multiple fields per the one SigmaPlusNo?

What is the best way to modify this database to handle the one to many issue??

Thanks in advance,

Gotta Redo

Excel Facts

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
It depends on what Estimate is (or another field in your table). Basically, if Estimate is some sort of ID, then change the primary key to be the combination of the first 3 fields instead of just SigmaPlusNo. Or change it to whatever fields will determine a unique record. Or, you can do away with the primary key altogether...but I would try something else first.

Hope this helps,

Russell
