It has come to light that I may have to run an hourly report on call stats in my callcentre..
this report would be taken from 1 program, pasted into an excel sheet and emailed to a certain person on the hour every hour.

Now I do this report once per day, it takes a good 15-20 mins to creat it.

i cant be doing this every hour.
Do you think a MACRO of somekind can be created to do this including emailing it?

Anyone have any links or ideas of a program that might even do this for me that I can set times etc?

Thanks in advance for any ideas or help./ :-P

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
I guess that there's more to it than just pasting the data into Excel, saving and e-mailing it but it sounds like something that would benefit from VBA automation.

Without further details it's hard to say how much work it would be.

Things to understand are:

- What application is the data coming from
- What processes have to take place in Excel to prepare it
- What e-mail system do you use

Not sure about the scheduling bit, it might be possible but it all depends how easy it is to get Excel and the source application to 'talk' to each other.

Hope it helps.

Write a VBS file to do this in Notepad, set it to Windows Scheduler. 8-)
