Hi, this is a fairly newbie question, and my first post on here, so bare with me here! I'm currently taking a course on Excel for beginners, and I'm currently stumped on a problem.
My assignment has us calculating insurance/doctor's visits with a copayment of $25.00 and this specific problem I'm supposed to get a total of 64$ as the result. The cost for the doctor's visit is 105.00. I did 105-25 and got 80, then I did times .80 as the insurance company will cover 80% of the remaining cost. So in the formula I'm doing, I'm doing =C12 (where the 105 is) then -25, * .80. So =C12-25*.80, it should be giving me 64.00$, yet it is giving me $85.00. I don't think it's correctly calculating the .80.
Any help at all is appreciated, thank you!
