Hello,

I am trying to make both a graph (probably line(multiple lines) or bar) and data range (ie row 1 is independent var (time in months), columns are dependent then just proceed) of a set of data that is overall statistics from other data.

My data is able to filtered based on a single cell's value from some data validation sets. One of the options is a custom period (ie the user can enter a start and end date) and the resulting data will filter out (I coded some if statements to do it). So, the sheet is like a manual pivot table. Is there any way I can get the data set & graph completed automatically via formulas? Do I have to result to macros to get the job done? Is it possible to declare cell values temporarily in formulas?

Thanks
