Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Hi,
Welcome to forum.

Sharing a workbook is fraught with problems. This feature has many limitations, and has been replaced by co-authoring in later versions of Excel (2016 & 365 subscriptions).

You can read more here:https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...uthoring-7152aa8b-b791-414c-a3bb-3024e46fb104

If you organisation does not have access to versions with this feature, I would suggest that you create a template copy of the workbook for each user & have them read / write data over your corporate network to a master workbook (database). This will allow users to keep their copy of workbook open & refresh with latest data.

Downside to this approach is that it will require some coding to make it all work.

Others here may have alternative suggestions

Hi.. thank you Dave for wellcome...and for your answer..
It´s not co-authoring.. it supposed to be an order.. and everybody saves a copy of original workbook and make some order with it.. so original book is unchanged.
But i wanted when they open copy of that original workbook it is possible to check if there is any change in original.. and make a new copy.. so i made timestamp in one cell.. when was the last time changed. I hope i explained ok..
