Hi folks,
I have a worksheet protected in the following manner:
The following area of the worksheet:
is set up in the following way:
• A7:I7 is locked (rest of row unlocked)
• A14:I14 is locked (rest of row unlocked)
• Rows 8 to 13 - entire row unlocked
What I want to do is allow users to enter new rows in the row 8 to 13 area while maintaining the merged columns B:F and G:H.
I've tired copy and paste, Insert Copied Cells, Format Painter, Ctrl Shift+. But the merged columns unmerge regardless of the method used.
And, of course, the merge function is not available on the locked worksheet.
Anyone any idea how this might be achieved?
Notes:
• I have to keep the merged cells (not my spreadsheet)
• I can't use vba (I'm hoping there's a simple trick I'm missing)
