Mail merge

I would like to have a macro in one of my forms which opens up a mail merge I have created, how do I do this?

Hi Buffy

I'm using Access 97 so if your using a different version it may be different??

GO into the design of your form and click on View then Toolbox a new tool bar will appear with a button icon.

Select this and click on your form - if you have the wizard on it will take you through what you require.

If your mail merge runs from a query then select the category Miscellaneous for the run query action.

How do u run a mail merge as a macro?

First you would have to create the macro. It might seem difficult but its pretty easy. You have to create it from the Macro Tab.

When the macro is created, go to the design view of your form. Create a command button and link the button to the macro.

When you click on the button, the macro will run.
