With an excel workbook set up like an order form (name / address info / product selection / qty / etc), is it possible to send a workbook customized to the recipient, to each member of a mail merge list? I'm not referring to the body of the email - I know how to do that - I'm referring to customizing the attached excel file itself.
1st sheet in workbook has both stuff I'd like filled in before emailing, and customizable stuff.
A2: company name, B2: street address, E2: city, etc
Below that, there are cells to be filled out by the company who gets the email:
A10: [product list dropdown], B10: [cell for quantity of product], C10:G22: other cells to be filled in by the company who receives the email
E.g. list:
Acme Inc. / 321 Oak St / New York NY 00123 / jondoe@acme.com
SmithCo / 5 A Ave / San Diego CA 98745 / name@smithco.net
A+ Products / 200 Main Rd / Akron OH 44441 / email@aplus.com
So jondoe@acme.com gets an email with an attached workbook where
A2: Acme Inc., B2: 321 Oak St. (etc)
A10: [product list dropdown], B10: [cell for quantity of product] (etc)
And name@smithco.net gets an email with an attached workbook where
A2: SmithCo, B2: 5 A Ave (etc)
A10: [product list dropdown], B10: [cell for quantity...]
??Is this possible??? Please let me know.
