Mail Merge Macro Headache

Hi,

I'm trying to produce a mail merge for 26,000 customers and wish to insert different picture depending on the area the customer lives. I have the file path of the picture required for each customer in a field on the data source, but the only way I can find to do this is by editing each individual letter and pressing F9. This would be fine however I can't go into 26,000 letters and edit them individually.

I'm OK with VB in Excel but Word is totally unknown to me. Is it possible to write a macro to do this? Can anyone help with this please? I know this is pretty vague but I don't really know where to start to automate this process.

Many thanks,

Jay
