I'm presently working at Salesforce in San Francisco and there was mail merge tool in google docs that is no longer supported by the company. Is there a way to create a mail merge from GMail (SFDC doesn't use Outlook - it uses GMail for all internal communications). I know you can send attachments etc from Outlook but does can you write code to send a document to GMail instead?

Thank you for your help.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Provided you have Outlook installed (even if it's not used), you can perform an email merge - all a mailmerge needs to send the output to email is an installed mapi driver.

What is a mapi driver, sorry, not very familiar with these things.

Thank you Alan for the link, I will pass this along. However, this would be a good starting point for them.
