Hello there,
now I got this very annoying situation with my Excel 2013. Ever since some updates were installed, I can't enable macros in Excel. Even after changing to "Enable all macros" in macro settings I receive an Compile error. After switching back to "disable all Macro with notification" the error is in fact gone, but there is no security warning to enable the content after restarting Excel. I tried a number of soultions such as System Restore, reinstalling Visual C++ or even command lines:
regsvr32 - c:\windows\syswow64\mscomctl.ocx
regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\mscomctl.ocx
Also reinstalled Office from my PC, but that did not helped either
I don't know, if this is there right place to post a thread like this, but if you could, please help!
I use Windows 7 Pro x64 & MS Office 2013 Pro Plus (x64) with SP1. The compile error when all marcos were enabled: "Compile error in hidden module:frmAutoUpdate".
Thank you,
Jonathan
