Macro to update a Excel file

Good Morning to everybody,

I'm writing you here because I didn't found anything regarding the "remote update" of an excel file. I would like to offer to my client a feture that when they open my excel file the macro check on a server ftp/sftp or web if there is any new version.

The macro compare the name of the file where is hardcoded the version of my macro and if there is any new version close the current file and delete it.

P.s : If there is any plugin or add in is good also.
