Hi Everyone,

I need a macro that when it runs will check the text in a standard shape textbox called "Words 1"

please help if you know how to do this, thanks

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hi Fluff,
thanks for the link that seams to be for active x textboxes, not what i need.

thanks

Missed the part about it being a shape.
This makes it easier, you just need to run the spell checker from the Review tab

Hi Fluff,
but i only want to run the spell check on the text box not the entire document?

Not sure that's possible, other than selecting the text in the textbox & running the spell check.
