Macro to show percentage completion in status bar

I have to import several files and I would like to show the percentage completed in the status bar. I can see the hour glass of doom but I don't know how long I have to wait until I'm finished.

Is it possible to do this in Excel?

I realize what I was looking for was a Progress Indicator userform. I have to import some big files and I would like to include the progress indicator in the macro that us being run.
