I am using Exel365.
When I attempt to assign a macro to a shape they do not stick. The macros work perfectly when I run them from VBA.
Any clues on a setting that needs to be turned on. Macros are turned on in the macro settings

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
I experienced this for the first time last week, frustratingly.

Restarted my laptop and opened Excel back up only to find the macro was there against the shape!

Really annoyingly, this has happend to me again today! So I did the same thing, restarted laptop and there it was!!!

If anyone can elaborate more I'd be interested
