simply put, I'm trying to create a macro VBA to copy a line of data in one work book and paste it into a central recording WB on the next empty line

This macro will be put onto a number of documents (all the same) which are audit documents that record scores. Then I click a button and it will send a compiled row of data into another workbook which compiles all audit data together

I know it should be simple but I am really stuck!

please help :(

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
so
workbook "audit" has a tab "compile" and needs to pick up row 3 and send it to workbook "roll up" tab "data" into the next available blank row...

ideally I would want it to check column A for duplicate reference too and error if it already exists...
