Is this possible within Excel, i.e. once data has been entered by Person A can an E-mail be automatically be generated to Person B to say that information has been updated and a response is required etc.

Thank you.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

Hi Graham,

It may be possible using a VBA script, but you need to be much more specific about your question.

1) Which version of Office do you have?
2) Which version do you expect your users to be using? In another words, will they all have the same version?
3) What action will prompt this event to trigger the VBA? As an example, if user enters something in cell A1, the event can be triggered. So what specific user action do you expect/want?
4) Where are these excel files being saved? If they are running in Win XP, are they stored in "My Documents" folder or are they being stored on a network drive?
5) Where are the e-mail addresses coming from? If you want the worksheet e-mail to a specific person "John Doe" - where is his/her e-mail address being stored? In Outlook contacts? or do you want the user to specifically type in the e-mail address?
