Good day.
I have a Purchase order master sheet that employees complete and then they use a macro to email the po to the manager to authorize.
This macro creates a macro enabled workbook saved as the po number.
The manager then uses a macro to authorize it and a pdf copy of the po is created and emailed to the employee requested it.
What I need is a macro that will allow me to know if the manager has authorized it.
Since when the manager authorizes the po it puts authorized by _____ Date Time____ in a specific cell on the workbook that was created when the employee run the macro requesting the po
I thought if I could get a macro telling me what is in D37 of workbook with the same name as what is in column B

So in FM20 I need the information that is in d37 of the workbook saved with the name in b20
In Fm21 I need the information that is in d37 of the workbook saved with the name in b21

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
