I am looking for the macro to read the email content, but in almost every example is asking to write it into the excel and use it's reference in outlook. Is it possible to do this only in outlook? If yes then how can we do this.

Thank you.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
you need the object control. Everyone has outlook so the object library is already there.
in vbe , menu: tools , references, Outlook object library.
the code then connects to the object and usees outlook like a user does in the front end.

Same with Lotus, etc. (I had to use Lotus for 1 company). Attach the Object reference then control it.
Its commands are almost identical to the Outlook objects:
mail system
mail item
to, subject, body, etc
send.
