Hi All,

I am by no means great with Excel, which is why I came to ask you fine people. I'm trying to create a reference tally sheet for my library so that we can stop using pen/paper. I've got the buttons to go up and down by increments of 1 on my first sheet, but I'm having trouble beyond this.

What I need is to have the data that's been populated in cells, a1,b1, and c1 of sheet 1 to be copied to a second excel sheet after the day ends, but also in the right date. Sorry I'm terrible at explaining this! So here is what I'd like the second sheet to look like, if possible:

Date
Reference Question
Telephone
Electronic

3/18/2019
25
12
5

3/19/2019
28
8
6

3/20/2019
18
11
4

3/21/2019
22
18
7

So along with having this data populate onto a second sheet and in the correct cells, I'd also like to have the data that's been generated in sheet 1 to be cleared automatically at the end of a 24 hour period, or when the date changes.

Can anyone help me with this? I've been struggling for a while now.

Hi Katie.

Can you possibly provide an idea of what your first sheet of data looks like?

Hi Shawn,

My first sheet looks like this (the + and - are buttons that move up and down in increments of 1)

Telephone

Electronic

(Numbers to generate)

(Numbers to generate)

(Numbers to generate)

+Button

-Button

+Button

-Button
+Button

-Button

Hope this helps!
