Hi there

I'm trying to figure out how to get a macro in a file 1 (start.xlsm) to prompt the user to browse their computer for a second file (rawdata.xlsx), to automatically open that file and run 3 separate macros that are stored in start.xlsm on the rawdata.xlsx file.

Rather than manually opening the rawdata file, and running the 3 macros from start.xlsm manually, I need to make this really easy for the user - i.e. they just have to open the 'start' file and it guides them through the rest.

Can anybody please give me some advice?
Thanks so much in advance!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
In such complicated set of actions create a macro follow the steps manually and then eidt/generalize the macro created. this will also be a lesson in wriring vba.
