I need a macro to merge a range of selected cells in a column into one cell with a space between each value.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
This should work:
Code:
Sub MyMerge()

    Dim cell As Range
    Dim CombinedEntry As String

' Loop through selection and build string and erase values in cells being merged
    For Each cell In Selection
        CombinedEntry = CombinedEntry & cell.Value & " "
        cell.ClearContents
    Next cell

' Remove last space from string
    CombinedEntry = Left(CombinedEntry, Len(CombinedEntry) - 1)

' Merge cells and populate entry
    Selection.Merge
    ActiveCell.Value = CombinedEntry

End Sub
