Macro to look up row based on contents and insert data

I am working on an asset tracking spreadsheet in Excel and I would like to add a feature that would allow you to add an action button that would go to the appropriate row (based on an input box search in one column) and add data(based on text input boxes)

Search column is titled Name, (Column C)
Data to add is Issued to(user) and current date


Any help would be appreciated.
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Another approach i am considering would be to generate a pick list, based on availability(if the issued to field is blank)
