Hey everyone,

I have a sheet that is protected that we use internally to calculate funds for customers.
The sheet itself undergoes some changes for each customer, including deleting rows; I have tried macros to just protect as data is entered or on save, but there are too many variables that I don’t know what I’m doing. We also sometimes have to save it, and come back to it later to adjust, so locking on save doesn’t work.

I’m wondering if there can be either a button or prompt on close/save with the ability to unlock the sheet, and then lock every cell so when we email it off the entire sheet cannot be edited in any way.

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
