Hi,

Please could I have some help building a macro to insert a new row, including formulae only, if one cell is populated.

If data (text format) was entered in cell A2, I would like a new row to be inserted below into row 3, and it would copy down the formulae from row 2 but none of the values. The idea would be for this to happen every time something is entered in column A. So if in the above new row A3 some text was typed, automatically a new row (4) would be entered, again with all the same formula as now 2 and 3 but with none of the values.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Welcome to the Board!

Can you please tell us exactly which columns have formulas in them that would need to be copied down?
