I've been trying to piece together a code from many different sources and it's not working.
Here's what I'd like to happen after a button is pushed:

Unlocked all sheets with a common to all password. Every sheet has the same password "passord1"
Select all cells in every sheet and change properties to "Protection -locked"
Put a new password in for every sheet, "password2"

Basically what I'm trying to do is finalize the workbork, no more changes.
I would appreciate any guidance.

Here is code to protect / unprotect all sheets.

Explain reasoning to change the password ?

VBA Code:
Option Explicit

Sub ProtectSheets()
Dim WS As Worksheet
Dim pwd As String

pwd = "passord2" ' Put your password here

For Each WS In Worksheets
    WS.Cells.Locked = True
    WS.Protect Password:=pwd
    WS.Protect Password:="passord2"
Next WS

End Sub

Sub UnprotectSheets()
Dim WS As Worksheet

For Each WS In ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets
    WS.Unprotect Password:="passord2"
Next WS

End Sub
